Individually designed bedrooms

As befits an historic house, each one of our bedrooms are completely individual. They are very different in size, shape and aspect. Decorated with a simple, yet traditional English style, most rooms have breathtaking coastal and sea views. We have 6ft super king beds in the majority of our rooms, all with Egyptian cotton bedding, sumptious bath robes and our bathroom products are natural, vegan, infused with aromatic essential oils and presented in refillable bottles.

Room

The best room in the hotel with a wide bay window framing magnificent sea views. This room is situated on the first floor.

Gould
Rooms

We have three Gould rooms. They are situated on the ground, first and second floors. All have lovely large sea view windows overlooking the garden and harbour.

Hinton
Rooms

The Hinton rooms enjoy wonderful sea views and are situated on the first and second floors.

Stackpoole
Rooms

Larger rooms suitable for families with chair/sofa-beds but no sea views. Both rooms are on the first floor.

Poulett
Rooms

Our Poulett rooms are the smaller of our sea view rooms and are located on the first and second floors.

Pinney
Rooms

Facing south with views across the lawn to the sea, these rooms are situated on the ground, first and second floors.

Peek
Rooms

Peek rooms are on the ground, first and second floors. These rooms do not have the best views but if you're the out and about type then perhaps these may be an option for you.

Parking at the Alexandra

The Alexandra was built in 1735 in the days of horse and carriage! Our parking is extremely limited but if you would like to reserve a space in our courtyard at £10 per night, please let us know as soon as possible.
